For the last few months, PIN1 students have been working really hard on preparing our big show, The Musicians of Bremen, in our Drama classes.
It is a short play, based on a story by the Brothers Grimm, that tells about four farmyard animals who have been kicked out of their homes because they are too old to work. They meet up in the forest, decide to form a musical band and travel to the town of Bremen. On their way to the city, they live lots of adventures together.
In our school, Drama lessons are a great way to learn interactively in a third language, and they help the students to develop different skills like creativity, communication, or self confidence, among others, as well as contributing to the development of literacy skills. They are also good fun, which makes learning enjoyable and memorable.
We are really excited to perform the show in front of an audience; we hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
