Spellian: Federica Micucci Award

This year 26 students from our school have successfully completed Spellian, the virtual language exchange programme specially designed for secondary school students. They were assigned an English partner of the same age from Latymer Upper School and St Paul's Girls'School, both schools situated in London and from October to March they had a weekly guided video conversation.

It is an excellent language programme that can help students to improve not only their fluency and confidence in English, but also their reading comprehension and cultural understanding.

Spellian has also created a very special award dedicated to their collaborator Federica Micucci that is given to the Spellian participant who has shown outstanding commitment towards the programme and has distinguished herself / himself for always being kind, supportive and helpful towards her / his partner.
