During Environment Week, running from the 3rd to the 7th June, we are actively participating in an initiative led by the I-CHANGE Living Labprojectin Barcelona, in conjunction with five other Jesuit Eduction schools. Our collaboration with Sant Ignasi began last year, focusing on installing meteorological sensors. This endeavour aims to monitor climate parameters and air quality in our surroundings, facilitating observation of variations across different locations.
This time, we'll delve into a comparison of pollution data gathered by Smart Citizen Kits stationed in various Living Labs across the project's locations: Genoa, Amsterdam, Hasselt, Bologna, Dublin, Jerusalem, and Ouagandougou (Burkina Faso). Our students play a crucial role in this endeavour, engaging in a series of activities focused on this topic throughout this year and the next.
Additionally, the proposal extends an invitation to students from 1st, 2nd year NEI, and 4th year Lower Secondary to engage with a question presented in the following video, which we encourage you to watch.
We anticipate that our involvement will provide a stimulating boost to the project while also offering us the opportunity to familiarise ourselves with and work on the data from our school. Thank you very much for your support of the initiative and for your collaboration!
