Professional visit for Upper Secondary Arts students
As part of the subject Technical Drawing Applied to Plastic Arts and Design, Year 1 Upper Secondary Arts students visited the Prats Nogueras Blanchard Gallery in the centre of Barcelona to explore the flat geometry concepts worked on in class in both theory and practice.

During the visit, which took in a guided tour of the gallery, each student chose one of the pieces on display, photographed it and will then analyse it geometrically back at school. This assignment will be the project for the final part of the syllabus for this block which includes polygons, transformations and tangents.
The exhibition they visited, entitled Juegos Reunidos, provides a fascinating dialogue between Joan Brossa's visual poetry and Chema Madoz's conceptual photography, two great artists who encourage us to rediscover the world with a renewed gaze. The combination of their works furnishes a unique artistic experience which enhances our students' learning.
This activity is both a rewarding opportunity and extremely valuable for our students' academic and artistic development.
