As part of our international exchange program, from February 22 to 28, 15 3rd year ESO students accompanied by 2 teachers participated in the exchange with All Saints School in York (England).
In this exchange, our students completed an entrepreneurship project, consisting of creating a business project about York and Barcelona as tourist destinations.
These exchanges involve an immersion in the culture and academic life of an English school and allow our students to foster their linguistic ability, their ability to improve and allow them to learn in a different environment and culture.
In April we will welcome English students to our school.
Violeta Sánchez-Crespo and Emma Castelltort, 3rd year ESO students, tell us about their experience:
Our day-to-day life was having breakfast in the hotel, going to school from 9 am to 2 pm with our partners, and doing an afternoon activity that was either visiting York or visiting museums. Some of the museums we went to were the railway museum and the Viking center. The last day we went to Scarborough, a small village near York. Although it was very cold, we had a really good time.
We think that participating in this exchange is an unforgettable experience that helps you learn a lot of new things.
