Tourism Accommodation Management students, closer to their profession
The students of Tourism Accommodation Management concluded the first project of the course with oral presentations on creating a hotel proposal based on the activities and knowledge acquired during the course. This first project is titled ‘Getting to Know the Profession’.
To achieve the project's objectives, we have engaged in various activities. These include group dynamics to foster teamwork and cohesion, hosting Finnish students from Hyria Education School, and organizing two masterclasses on Sustainable Tourism and Cultural Topics and Stereotypes on World Tourism Day.We also welcomed speakers like Vinyet Gonzalez, Head of HR at Hotel Serras, and visited the Renaissance Hotel and the Cotton House Hotel to learn about different departments from Mireia Cabo, Director of Sales at the Renaissance Hotel and a teacher of the cycle.
This intense month and a half has laid the foundation and built confidence for the students' future profession through their first contact with the sector.
