This year, at Jesuïtes Sarrià - Sant Ignasi we have proposed a new participation project geared towards the families and children at our school and also open to any families interested in getting to know us better.
This is the Converses project, a series of free training sessions that aim to create awareness, offer guidance and promote interaction between educators, parents and students, thus contributing to a more inclusive school environment and offering comprehensive support for the well-being of the children.
In these conversations, led by experts, we looked at with the personal, emotional and social needs of children in the early stages, and addressed the most common concerns and worries as well as the emerging challenges of a rapidly changing world.
In this context, on 20 February last, we held the workshop Games as an educational concept, a mobile LABrun by Fundació Universitària del Bages (University of Manresa)).
The "Lab on wheels" is one of the projects of Lab 0_6, the University of Manresa's discovery, research and documentation centre for scientific education in the early years and it aims to generate, transfer and disseminate knowledge linked to science teaching in children aged from 0 to 6 years. This van carries around experiments and science ideas to encourage children's curiosity and experimentation.
In this workshop, the little ones experienced, touched and discovered through different exciting scientific and practical proposals.
The families enjoyed accompanying their children, shared experiences and learned new ways to awaken their children's curiosity and interest in the world around them.
