13 first year Baccalaureate students from Jesuïtes Sarrià - Sant Ignasi have taken part in an exchange with Saint Peter's Prep: New Jersey's Jesuit High School Since 1872 - Saint Peter's Prep (spprep.org) in New Jersey.
Throughout Easter, and for a few days of class, the students of Sant Ignasi welcomed their American classmates, who hosted them in the United States last December.
The Saint Peter's students took part in the school's academic activities and enjoyed cultural visits organised by the school to iconic places in the city of Barcelona, such as the Gothic Quarter, El Born, the Picasso Museum, the Sagrada Família and the Port of Barcelona, among others.
We hope it was an unforgettable experience!
These exchanges involve a total immersion in the culture and academic life of an American school and enable our students to develop their language skills, their ability to excel and allow them to learn in an unfamiliar setting, adapting to different learning methodologies and a family different from their own.
