Curiosity, language development and growing up confident and secure.
THE STUDENT AT THE CORE
Each child is unique, with their own potential, needs, pace and interests. At our centre, we make progress in the creation of our own identity. We build affective relationships and the integration and adaptation to the environment. We progress in our own autonomy: we resolve situations, take initiatives, acquire daily habits. We observe, explore and discover. We learn through curiosity. We encourage self-confidence. We work and talk closely with the family. We offer moments of calm, dynamics at the start and end of the day and management of emotions. We integrate English into everyday life. We help to socialise the child.
ENVIRONMENT: we educate together
We work together in the child’s growth, connecting the everyday routine between home and school. Family and educators take an active part in school life, and we are role models and reference points. We offer ongoing, personalised and mutually trusting contact.
We establish positive and affective bonds that encourage development and socialisation.
CONTENTS: from everyday life and play
We learn through daily habits and routines in order to develop personal autonomy, respecting the maturity rhythm of each child.
We start from what is closest to us and gradually discover what is furthest away.
We discover and descramble the different languages (linguistic, mathematical, body, artistic and musical). We offer daily contact with English.
METHODOLOGIES: active, playful and adapted to your child’s needs
We encourage play as a source of learning and present activities in the form of games.
We foster movement as a catalyst for natural physical development.
We work on sensory stimulation, encouraging discovery, experimentation and hands-on experience as the primary source of knowledge.
ASSESSMENT: personalised and shared
We respect the child’s pace of life and learning. We adapt the process and the accompaniment from where the child is in order to stimulate growth.
We observe constantly and systematically in order to gain information about the children’s behaviour and actions.
We assess qualitatively, explaining and evaluating the evolution, based on a shared and participative accompaniment of educators and families.
ORGANIZATION: flexible to meet the needs of children, families and the team
We adapt the day’s activities to suit the daily routine, tailoring them to the interests of the child and the group.
We structure the timetable flexibly in accordance with the biological rhythms of the children.
We guarantee the quality of the educational work by providing learning and healing opportunities for the children. We are based on daily communication and mutual trust with families.
We establish positive and affective links through the constant and stable presence of the team of reference educators.
This year we are launching a new laboratory designed for Infant pupils.
A space where experimentation, combined with the teacher's guidance, becomes science.
We present a variety of proposals, and the children learn through trial and error, changes of variables and questions that allow them to think and try again.
