The Treasure of Water

In the project "The Treasure of Water", PIN2 students discover the importance of not wasting water and also craft awareness campaigns on how to use water wisely, which they will share with their families at the end of the project.

Water is a common good which we need to use conscientiously and sustainably to ensure that everyone can benefit from it while helping to conserve the planet's resources.

We can make a difference in our surroundings. It's up to us to take action to use water more conscientiously and responsibly ourselves and also foster water-saving measures at home and school alike.

There are many ways to make and spread an awareness message. For our campaign to be successful, we need to choose a format that is appropriate both for what we want to say and who we want to say it to.

As part of the project The Treasure of Water in Primary Year 2, we arranged a trip to the Water Museum in Cornellà de Llobregat. This outing enabled us to find out more about water. Guided by a giant story, games with clues and solving riddles, we learned about the priority uses of water, how people's actions affect water quality and what habits can help us save water.
